Prayer
Message from the Principal
All Souls and All Saints Day
The 1st November was the feast of All Saints whereby we honour all of our saints and the great inspiration they are for us all. On the 2nd November was the feast of All Souls whereby we pray for all those who have passed away and hold their memories close to our hearts.
Christmas Carols
I know families and students are very excited for our upcoming Christmas Carols on Wednesday 30th November at 6.30pm. From what I have heard it is a truly amazing event where the whole community comes together to celebrate the gifts our children have as we prepare for the coming of Jesus on Christmas Day.
Pupil Free Day
A reminder that Monday 7th November is a Pupil Free Day.
Premier’s Reading Challenge
Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Mrs Tomazin and I attended Parliament house where we accepted the award for best school participation. Good Shepherd had over 200 students participate, who combined, read thousands of books.
Colour Run
What an amazing day we had for our colour run. The students had a great time, but I think some parents and staff had an even better time. Thank you very much to the P&F for organising this exciting event.
Parking for People with Disability
Please be aware that there are clearly marked parking bays for people with disability. These bays ensure that people with disability have the same opportunities as other people to access the school. Can I please ask that you keep these bays clear.
Assembly Zoom link
Now that there are no COVID restrictions we will no longer be streaming assemblies via ZOOM.
God Bless

Person of the Week
Congratulations
to our most recent Person of the Week recipients
Lawrence - PPB
Lawrence is a kind and compassionate member of our school community who is always thoughtful in his actions. He enters the classroom with a polite greeting and smile every morning. Lawrence speaks respectfully to everyone and is happy to help whenever needed. He can often be found cleaning up and packing away after others have made a mess. Lawrence exhibits the values of Jesus through his honesty and trustworthiness. He is caring and inclusive of those around him and treats everyone with respect, kindness, and compassion. We are so lucky to have Lawrence at Good Shepherd.
Ruby Sharman - 5B
Ruby is a polite and respectful member of 5B. She always comes into class with a friendly disposition and enthusiasm to start the day. Ruby works well with peers both in class and in the playground, she is a good friend to everyone and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is a wonderful example of the ‘Spirit of Jesus’ each day by the positive way she interacts with staff and students. Ruby can be relied upon to demonstrate the correct behaviour in all situations, she has a lovely kind heart. A truly worthy recipient of this award, congratulations Ruby.
